• Your student will suffer academically if they miss 10% of the school year, or about 18 days.  That can equal to one day every two weeks, and can happen before you know it!

• By middle and high school, chronic absence is the leading predictor that a student will drop out. 

• A student who misses 10 or more days during the school year is 20% less likely to graduate from high school and 25% less likely to ever enroll in college
